The Mishkan Project- Housed in Sanctuary for Families, provides a range of services to young women from the Jewish communities who have experienced various forms of trauma. Through our Economic Empowerment Program, participants can engage in a four-month, full-time career readiness workshops in which they gain certifications in Microsoft office as well as skills to succeed in the workforce. Those who participate in this program receive a stipend and Metrocards in addition to the all-around supportive services related to internships, job search, professional clothing, and more. Alongside the EEP program, participants will engage with a case manager to help ensure that their immediate and long-term needs are met.

We understand that finding the right organization can be difficult and it is our goal to provide guidance, support, and direction when faced with challenging situations. That is why, in addition to social services for youth, our compilation of resources also includes drop in centers, alternative high schools and education, wilderness programs, and more.
