A Safe Space

Located in Brooklyn, NY, Miryam’s house was established in 2014 as an additional extension of Project Extreme and as an opportunity for homeless young women who are 18 years and older to have a safe place to live and receive help. Miryam’s House offers a growth-oriented home for those seeking shelter, additional encouragement, life skills support, and healthy communication skills.

The womens home is located in a residential neighborhood in NY, close to major transportation and shopping. Residents are required to hold a full-time schedule of work, school, or a combination of both as well as commit to weekly therapy meetings and household chores. House guidelines include Shabbos observance and strict adherence to Kosher dietary laws.
